Hail to the King of Kings!

Hail Jesus Christ God’s only Son
Who died to set us free
His life He gave
His promise kept
He rose in victory!

Sin and death had no prevail
The stone was rolled away
An empty space
Now echoes grace
What prophets voiced in fine detail

The chains of death no longer clasp
Released from sinner’s arm
Forever gone: sin’s threat of past
God saved us all from harm

Where once our Blessed King did lay
Now empty grave resounds
Gives forth triumphant sounds
He’s risen today!
Rejoice He lives!
Let praises abound!
The King is risen today!
