Faith In Action: Local Missions

Faith In Action's vision is to provide tangible opportunities for families to put their faith into action by meeting the needs of the less fortunate in our community and abroad. People of all ages are welcome! We hold one service project per month during the months of September through April, usually on a Sunday afternoon, and then get together for pizza or a picnic afterwards to share our experience and have fun together! For more information on Faith In Action contact Gail Bigelow.

The ministry allows us to share of our time, talents, and other resources to make a difference in the Kingdom of God. PLC has been actively supporting this ministry since 2005.

Prison Ministry

Over 4,000 men are incarcerated at the Donovan State Prison at Otay Mesa. A handful of volunteer chaplains lead Bible studies, worship sessions and counseling sessions. Through Pastors to Prisoners we provide support to these chaplains.
