Care at PLC
Whether it’s prayer that you need, support when life’s challenges arise, or a desire for one-on-one pastoral guidance, you will find care at PLC.
PLC Prayer Community
The powerful ministry of prayer has increased and intensified as we deal with the fear and anxiety that many of us are sensing these days in our world. Because of the online and public nature of our livestreamed worship services, we have chosen not to pray by name for people’s specific needs. However, they are still being held up in prayer by the Pastoral Team and the Prayer Ministry Team each week.
Prayer Requests
If you would like the Pastoral Team and/or the Prayer Ministry Team to pray for a specific concern, click the button or call the church office at 858.672.3466. It would be a privilege to join with you in prayer.

Written by various members of PLC, a new devotional is posted every Monday morning.
GriefShare
Your grief journey is personal—no matter how recent or distant your loss may be.
GriefShare is a 13-week, Christ-centered support group designed to offer comfort, encouragement, and practical help to those mourning the loss of a loved one.
Each week, you’ll watch a video featuring insights from pastors, counselors, and others who have experienced grief. These sessions provide guidance for navigating the difficult emotions and challenges of loss. After the video, your group will come together to discuss what you’ve learned and how it relates to your own experience, offering support and hope as you move toward healing and peace.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction is a great opportunity for spiritual growth. Through these sessions, you can learn how to discern what the Lord is doing in your life where it may currently be unclear.
Spiritual Direction is a form of pastoral guidance that helps a person deepen their relationship with God. The spiritual director offers thoughtful questions, observations, and room for reflection and prayer, all for the sake of the directee. This “sacred space” helps directees grow in communion with God by noticing their lives, naming how God is present and active in love, and choosing how to respond to God’s loving overtures.
