Presented by 6th-12th graders from PLC and the community, the Disney Channel’s hit movie musical comes to life on stage! ‘Jock’ Troy and ‘brainiac’ Gabriella cause an upheaval at East High when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. The show’s fun, danceable music will delight everyone at this family-friendly show.
C-MENT (Christian Musical Enrichment Theater) is the youth drama ministry of Peñasquitos Lutheran Church. C-MENT inspires young performers to grow in their Christian faith while developing their talents in musical theater. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate, nor is previous experience required! Everyone who auditions is invited to be in the cast and is sure to have a great time! Even non-actors can learn behind-the-scenes skills in technical production, such as sound, lighting, set design, and costuming.
