Soaking Prayer refers to a time for intentional rest in the presence of the Lord. The services are held in the Sanctuary and attendees are invited to sit, kneel or lay down in one of the pews while praying. Many bring a favorite pillow or blanket to aid in their sense of comfort and intimacy with the Lord. While you soak, a prayer minister will silently offer prayer for you during the evening. Quiet, restful music is played to help you release your cares and troubles and lift up your praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. Many report they are released from insomnia, anxiety and worry after these services. For more information, contact Jane Josephs.
