PLC Prays Together

“Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” -Matthew 10:39

Jesus is calling out to each of us individually and corporately as His church. He is asking us to come close and lay down all of the things that we have allowed to interfere with the relationship that He desires to have with us. In exchange He promises to give us true life in Him.

Pray with us as we pray:

• Lord, guide us to live as You desire – as “imitators of God.” Help us to love as You love and to serve You in all that we do.
• Let our lives be a fragrant offering to You. Work in and among us as we yield to You in worship.
• Come into our lives and Your church, Lord, and help us to decrease as You increase.
• Pray as led for the call committee for a third pastor – Michelle McKinney, Brenda Babayan, Carl Friedemann, David James, Pastor Sean Kelly, Erin Mrozek, and Mike Peck.
• Meditate on the prayer devotions from the weekly bulletin and pray as led for the church.

Father, come, build Your church living stone by living stone. Mold us each day more and more into the likeness of Your Son so that we can effectively represent You in this world. Walk with us and help us to let go of all that we are holding onto trusting that You are faithful in all of our circumstances. Teach us to worship You with open hands ready to receive all that You have for us. You alone, Lord, are worthy of our praise. Amen.
