	Jerald Borgie, Senior Pastor Pastor Jerald Borgie's theme verse for life's guidance is found in Matthew 6:33, the words of Jesus: "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." He has served congregations in Cleveland, Ohio and Compton, California and has been at PLC since 1977. Pastor Borgie has been married to Marcia, our church organist/keyboardist, for 43 years. The Borgies have two married sons: Rod, who is married to Suzie; and Ben, who is married to Leah. They also have five grandchildren: Andrew, Emma & Jonathan (Rod & Suzie),and Finley and Luke (Ben & Leah). His greatest joy in ministry is seeing lives transformed through the power of the Gospel.

	Greg Hoffmann, Pastor of Discipleship Pastor Greg Hoffmann, a native Californian, was ordained and installed as Associate Pastor at Peñasquitos Lutheran in 1987. He is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in Music Education (1977). He served as Director of Youth Ministries at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in San Mateo, CA (1977-1981). He received his MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA (1985) and his MTh from Luther Northwestern Seminary in St. Paul, MN (1993). Pastor Greg is married to Cindy, whom he met when he was in the 4th grade and she was in the 2nd grade. They have three children: Nathaniel, Garrett and Melyssa.

	Sean Kelly, Pastor of Congregational Life Pastor Sean Kelly is a graduate of California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA (Bachelor of Arts, Music), Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN (Master of Divinity), and Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA (Doctor of Ministry). Pastor Sean served as Associate Pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN for nine years before joining the PLC pastoral team in July of 2007. Sean is married to Jenny and they have four sons: Lance, Kyle, Andrew and Jack.

	David Peterson, Visitation Pastor Pastor Dave Peterson is a graduate of Luther Junior College in Wahoo, Nebraska and Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He graduated from Augustana Seminary in 1962 and then continued graduate work in counseling at Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. His calls have led him to Park Lutheran Church in Chicago; Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Elk Grove, Illinois; Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas; Trinity Lutheran Church in Fresno, California; and then to St. John's Lutheran Church in El Cajon, California where he served until retirement in 2000.
