Knitting Together

If you enjoy knitting and crochet, this is the group for you. We meet the 2nd Tuesday and the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Prayer Room and accomplish many projects for community and missions needs. Current projects include:  knitting or crocheting hats for children in the hospital in Honduras and a very basic prayer shawl that we are taking turns knitting.

We've completed over 200 mini crochet christmas stockings for children in Honduras. Anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet is welcome to join us. Experienced knitters/crocheters may also bring their own project to work on if they would like to join us for an enjoyable hour and a half. We welcome yarn donations! Any color worsted yarn for the hats is always needed and it takes 4-5 skeins of homespun yarn for a prayer shawl. Like to know more? Email Knitting Together Coordinator Betty Teske.
