Meets Wednesdays, Mar. 7 – May 16, 2018
from 6:00-8:00 pm
Come and see what it is like to live the life of a disciple of Jesus. Completing the Faith Walk series, the first half of this session will focus on answering the question, “What does a follower of Jesus do in relationship with God?” We’ll discuss and practice these spiritual disciplines: reading the Bible, prayer, community, serving, and evangelism. We’ll explore both individual disciplines and the disciplines of community life.
During the second half of the session, we’ll explore the question, “What does a follower of Jesus do in relationship with the world?” Knowledge and community are only good as much as they serve a disciple on his or her mission. This study begins and ends with Jesus as He guides us along the journey to be in mission with Him. This class will use the books, Disciples Path: The Life and Disciples Path: The Mission.
- Cost: $45/person (includes dinner & workbooks)
